Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the night shift. The part-time position requires 13 weeks of orientation and OB Core Course as part of onboarding. Responsibilities include patient-centered obstetric care, teaching back to families, and maintaining HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing that enables sitting for the NCLEX to become licensed as an RN; BSN preferred.
• New graduates must schedule licensure exam within 45 days of hire.
• Current State of Michigan RN License and BLS required; ACLS for specified units.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information and develops a care plan.
• Implements, evaluates, and revises patient care plans.
• Uses teach-back to educate patients and families.
• Communicates patient status and priorities during rounds and handoffs.
• Follows HIPAA policies and contributes to mission and values.
