Job summary

AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Neonatal/Obstetrical care on the night shift. You will deliver newborn care, participate in resuscitation, and monitor high- and low-risk obstetric patients with a collaborative team.

Expect ongoing professional development and adherence to pediatric/neonatal protocols. Qualifications include an RN license, BLS, NRP, and an Associate's in Nursing; a Bachelor's is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and active practice in neonatal/obstetric care.
• Required BLS and NRP certifications.
• 1+ acute nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with newborn care at deliveries and provide immediate neonatal support.
• Maintain neonatal resuscitation readiness and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor and document care for high- and low-risk obstetrical patients.
• Identify and report maternal/newborn issues to physicians promptly.
• Support safe transfers of newborns to other facilities when needed.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
