Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery to join a high-volume Women and Infant Services team. The unit features 14 LDR rooms, 24 Antepartum rooms, 3 surgical rooms, and a comprehensive obstetric/neonatal program that delivers high-quality care to mothers and babies.

We offer a night shift schedule (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) with an 18% night differential and a flat $3/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor laboring patients and provide nursing care per care plan.
• Coordinate with obstetric team and support family throughout labor and delivery.
• Document care accurately and communicate changes to the physician.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
