Job summary

Memorial Hermann in Katy, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team for a full-time night shift (7pm–7am). The role provides professional nursing care, collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and supports patient education and discharge planning.

Minimum qualifications include BSN preferred, TexasRN license (or temporary/compact), BLS certification, and unit-specific requirements. Experience levels: RN I/II 1–3 yrs; RN III 3–10 yrs; RN IV 10+ yrs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); additional certifications per unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to patients according to nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes; participates in discharge planning and care transitions.
