Job summary

Adventist Health Santa Clarita, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to join our night shift teams. The role delivers focused, evidence-based nursing care to a patient population in a fast-paced obstetric unit.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN preferred, with RN licensure in California and current BLS/ACLS/FHM certifications. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to ensure safe deliveries and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers to provide a safe, healing environment and provide health information.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred

Acute care facility experience - Preferred
