Ascension Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX, is hiring a full-time RN for the Labor and Delivery unit on the night shift. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary care, implement and monitor care plans, and ensure accurate execution of physician orders.

Discharge planning with the care team is a key responsibility. Minimum requirements include RN licensure, BLS within 1 month, and preferred ALS/NRP/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Registered Nurse licensure prior to hire date.
• Preferred credentials: Advanced Life Support (ALS).
• Preferred credentials: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Preferred credentials: The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program.
• Preferred credentials: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition to the team.
• Serves as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent licensure
