Qualifications

• BLS provider within 1 month of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse license required by hire date.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation (AAP) preferred.
• The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program (STABLE) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
