Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12.5-hour night shift at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The Labor & Delivery unit offers a collaborative, safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth and professional advancement.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, collaboration with physicians, patient and family education, accurate documentation in EPIC, and active participation in rounds and care

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
ACLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
Administer safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care decisions.
Educate patients and families to support informed care decisions.
Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive effective communication.
Contribute to a collaborative team with shared accountability.
