Job summary

Big Bend Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for Women’s Services – Labor & Delivery on a full-time night shift (6:30pm–6:30am). A $10,000 sign-on bonus with an 18-month commitment is offered.

The role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and documenting care in alignment with unit standards. Requirements include an associate’s degree and Texas RN license; a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Associate's degree and RN license required in Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope.
• Educate patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care.
