Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
