Job summary

AdventHealth in Louisville is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial domains. You will develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.

Collaborative teamwork, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Advanced/Acute Care credentials preferred
• Experience in acute hospital setting preferred
• Strong assessment and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
