Job summary

You will administer treatments, document care, and participate in performance improvement initiatives to support safe, high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with ADN required and BSN preferred,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience per department guidelines.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Other unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and NRP) may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments per policies, standards, and state laws.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes patient plans of care per physician guidance and unit policy.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities.
• Provides clinical guidance to other units to support longitudinal care.
• Uses critical thinking to ensure patient safety and experience; escalates when needed.
• Participates in professional nursing continuum, unit practice, and peer review.
