Job summary

University of Toledo is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Kobacker Inpatient Unit. The role involves coordinating total nursing care and maintaining professional standards while collaborating with other health care professionals.

Responsibilities include leading on the floor, rotating shifts and units, and participating in on-call coverage as part of a part-time AFSCME HSC team. Ohio RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio is required.
• BLS required.
• Must be willing to rotate shifts and units.
• May be required to assume Charge Nurse role.
• Physical requirements: visual acuity 20/20 or corrected, hearing, ability to communicate, dexterity, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking, bending/reaching, CPR.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients with consideration of their specific age needs.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other health care professionals.
