Job summary

The University of Toledo Health Science Campus seeks a Staff Nurse for the Transplant/GU Intermediate Care Unit (4AB). Provides leadership by coordinating total patient care and collaborating with the health care team. Shift: 7:00 pm–7:30 am, full-time, rotating assignments.

Requires Ohio RN licensure and BLS; may serve as Charge Nurse and rotate units as needed. Salary: $33.63–$43.64 per hour. On-call, weekend and holiday coverage required; tobacco-free campuses with accommodations available

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio is required.
• BLS required.
• Must be willing to rotate shifts and units.
• May be required to assume Charge Nurse role.
• Physical requirements: visual acuity 20/20, hearing, communication, dexterity, lifting 50 pounds, mobility, CPR.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients with consideration of their specific age needs.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other health care professionals.
