Alton Memorial Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a registered nurse for a night shift in the Surgical Care Unit. Open to ADN, BSN, and MSN candidates with a 3x12 hour schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible external candidates.

Qualifikationen

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN licensure required.

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; respects patient values and cultural needs.
• BJC considers this a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe performance.
