Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Beverly, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Johnson 3 medical telemetry unit. The 32-bed unit provides care for patients with stroke, cardio-pulmonary disorders, and acute infections using evidence-based practice and a team approach.

You will complete assessments, administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient progress to optimize outcomes on a night shift. A BSN is preferred and a MA RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Telemetry experience or successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Care of the telemetry patient within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications, wound treatments, observes patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each individual patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
