Job summary

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. You will administer patient care in an acute care setting, coordinate care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet individualized rehab goals.

Qualified candidates will have a Florida RN license, BLS, and appropriate certifications. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient rehab services at the Ocoee facility with comprehensive patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid NLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas; NRP required for Neonatal Intensive care Unit (NICU).
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s needs and develop/revise an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
• Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
• Function as a patient and family advocate.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the unit/department.
• Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
• Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage the unit/department.
• Be a role model and support hospital and nursing department goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span and interpret patient data for age-specific needs.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to other team members for a defined group of patients.
• Document patient care meeting required standards (assessment, education, meds, treatments, safety).
• Demonstrate competency in nursing skills and use of unit equipment.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing

Active Florida RN license or valid multistate RN license

BLS/Healthcare Provider certification

ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as required for certain areas
