Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on the night shift. You will assess, plan, and implement care with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compassionate support for patients and families.

This full-time role requires an active RN license, ADN or BSN, and BLS; acute care experience is preferred. You will document in the medical record, participate in performance improvement, and contribute to a healing, faith-guided

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year in an acute care hospital preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective communication.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care among healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations and intervene as needed.
