Job summary

Truman Medical Centers is seeking a part-time Clinical Nurse RN for the Inpatient Float Pool in Kansas City, MO. Shift is 6:45 PM–7:15 AM, totaling 24 hours per week, supporting inpatient care and patient flow across departments.

You will assess patients, plan and deliver care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in education and quality initiatives. Missouri RN license and BCLS required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license and BCLS certification.
• Inpatient or float pool nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational regulations.
