Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for inpatient care on the PCU Multisystem unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families while ensuring teamwork with the medical staff.

Requires RN license, Associate's degree (BSN preferred), BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year acute care experience. Night shift is 7pm–7am with rotating weekends/holidays. Pay range included and background screening required.

Qualifications

RN licensure required
Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
BLS and ACLS required
1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred
Night shift availability and ability to work nights in a hospital unit

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, and social factors
Develop and implement individualized care plans and monitor progress
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication
