Job summary

St. Francis Nursing Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 24-hour facility. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while delivering compassionate care.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications and therapies, document care, and educate families. A state RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Document patient status and outcomes accurately in patient charts.
• Provide patient and family education to promote health and safety.
