Job summary

St. Francis Nursing Center in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents, promoting high-quality, compassionate care in a mission-driven setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, performing clinical interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in state of employment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; document and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team; monitor results.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimens).
• Maintain confidential patient records; use IT to support decisions and mitigate errors.
• Advocate for patient rights; promote health and safety.
• Educate patients/families; assess learning readiness and effectiveness of teaching.
