Job summary

Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to deliver compassionate patient care using the Nursing Process in line with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

New RN graduates and RNs in their first year participate in the Singing River Nurse Residency Program; candidates must have one year inpatient experience preferred and hold an MS RN license with BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.
• All RNs must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire/transfer.
• RNs in specialty areas must acquire listed certifications within time frames.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process per standards.
• Participate in Singing River Nurse Residency Program for new grads.
• Supervise LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Technicians.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and professional ethics requirements.
