Signature HealthCARE of Norfolk is seeking an RN to join our night shift team. This role delivers direct nursing care, administers medications, performs wound care, and supports residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physician of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
