Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced RN II to provide professional care on the night shift (7p–7a). The role requires conducting assessments, coordinating care with physicians and the care team, and maintaining accurate medical records.

As an RN II, you will lead with progressive responsibilities, participate in governance initiatives, and serve as a preceptor to students or new hires while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care on a diverse medical-surgical floor.

Qualifikationen

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment
• Current Texas RN license with eligibility to obtain permanent license within 60 days (PSV) if relocating to Texas
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP preferred or must be obtained
• FHMC Fetal Heart Monitoring certification or equivalent preferred

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and coordinate care with the interprofessional team.
• Develop and update the plan of care, prioritizing patient needs and discharge planning.
• Provide patient education and counseling to patients and families.
• Serve as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees when assigned.
