Houston Methodist is seeking an RN II for the NICU Level 2 on the full-time night shift. The registered nurse provides professional care, conducts assessments, assists with exams and treatments, educates patients and maintains medical records, and advocates for patient rights.

The RN II collaborates with physicians and the interprofessional team, demonstrates clinical competence in medications and procedures, leads unit initiatives, and may serve as charge nurse or preceptor while contributing

Qualifications

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• RN licensure in Texas with PS V Compact; must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days; BLS and NRP certifications required
