Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time evening shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) in a high-acuity environment. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Emergency Department/ICU required.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for and counsel patients in promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness.
• Deliver patient care in collaboration with healthcare team and licensed physicians.
