Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare Corporation in Fergus Falls, MN seeks a Registered Nurse to provide bedside care in ICCU and Medical/Surgical units. This 32-hour biweekly position requires applying the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with families, staff, and physicians.

Candidates must be MN-licensed, CPR certified, and prepared to complete TNCC or trauma education within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing program with MN licensure.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification at hire or within 6 months.
• TNCC certification preferred or inpatient trauma education within 6 months of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate nursing care.
• Interact with patients, families, LRH employees, referral agencies, volunteers and physicians.
• Supervise patient care, secure cooperation, problem-solve and exercise initiative.
