Job summary

Lowell General Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Unit - Main Campus. The role provides professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, with a focus on assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s plan of care.

This full-time Nights position requires an active Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and a level-based experience pathway.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on patient care area.
• Experience level varies by RN level (I–IV).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Oversee and deliver nursing care within scope of practice.
• Develop individualized patient care plans and educate patients/families.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and department committees.
• Support staff through precepting and onboarding.
