Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans and administer medications according to orders while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate with the care team, and document outcomes in the medical record. The campus in Apopka offers extensive services and a strong, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• RN with required licensure and BLS
• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors to plan care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective patient care and documentation.
