Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, 14 West General Medicine, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 14W unit for 7PM–7AM shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule. This full-time role includes 3 twelve-hour shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays, within a 31-bed unit focused on general medicine and related care.

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
