Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg team at St. Luke's Medical Center. The role requires delivering comprehensive nursing care during a 36-hour work week, including night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

The selected nurse will participate in evidence-based practice, ensure accurate EHR documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license and compact or single-state privileges in the state(s) served.
• Hospital/med-surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with the patient and family.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
