Job summary

Allina Health’s General Medicine unit at United Hospital seeks an experienced RN to join a 32-hour-per-two-week schedule on permanent night shifts. You will perform comprehensive assessments, plan and coordinate care, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient outcomes on a unit recognized for infection control and hand hygiene excellence.

The role offers opportunities for charge and preceptor duties and supports ongoing professional development within a collaborative ICU-like medical unit.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Vocational degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional RN experience required or preferred.
• Medical/Surgical experience desirable and important for unit care.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and planning of care.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high quality patient care.
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
• Foster collaboration with families, patients and the care team to meet outcomes.
