Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in nursing (RN)
• Current RN license (Florida) and BLS/CPR Certification
• EKG knowledge and ability to interpret rhythm strips
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with standard computer and hospital information systems
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and patient outcomes.
