Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Seasonal RN Float to provide safe, skilled nursing care during night shifts (7p–7a) in Bradenton, FL. The role is temporary for six months and pays $60 per hour with a $5 night shift differential.

Candidates must hold an active Florida/Compact RN license and BLS at hire, with ACLS within a defined start period. This position requires acute care experience and commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Required 2 years, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
• ACLS required within start date for most units; NICU/PACU variants have specific timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in line with facility policies.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Maintains effective communication and customer service with patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
