Job summary

The RN Corewell Health West Float Pool provides assignment-based nursing support across units in the Grand Rapids area. Nurses follow the standard staff nurse responsibilities for their assigned unit, ensuring continuity of care during float rotations.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Michigan (MI)
• Current BLS required within 90 days of hire
• ACLS required within 180 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible for RN licensure in MI
• Associates in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred within 5 years

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Document education and care plans in the health record.
• Engage with patient-family centered care to improve outcomes.
• Meet requirements of the unit/department for float assignments
