Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an ED RN for the West Michigan region, based at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. This full-time night shift position offers a 36-hour workweek with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a schedule that includes every third weekend.

The RN will provide professional nursing care using the nursing process, partnering with patients and families, and documenting education and learning in the health record, under the guidance of the Nurse Leader.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required within 5 years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must have passed the NCLEX.
• Michigan RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Deliver quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader.
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop goals and plan of care.
• Document education and learning in the health record.
