Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s in Liberty, LA is seeking an experienced RN to join the Night shift in the Liberty Emergency Department. This full-time role is 0.8 FTE (32 hours weekly) with Regular status, designed for nurses who practice at the top of their license and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of experience; if hired without BSN/MSN, must enroll within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related discipline.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMerit per Ohio Board of Nursing code.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care following professional practice standards and guidelines.
• Mentor and precept nursing staff; participate in safety and quality initiatives.
• Document care and coordinate with the health care team to support patient outcomes.
