Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. This full-time night shift role offers three 12-hour shifts, every third weekend and every other holiday, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, using evidence-based practice, and advancing nursing practice with ACLS/PALS/TNCC training.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications (preferred/required)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care to ensure safe, therapeutic outcomes.
• Use evidence-based practice and strong clinical decision making.
• Lead and collaborate with a skilled emergency nursing team.
• Orient new staff and support successful role transition.
• Maintain safety and deliver high-quality patient experiences across the continuum.
