Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team on a full‑time night shift. The schedule runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend and every other holiday, in a level 4 trauma center serving adults and children.

You will work with a skilled nursing team to coordinate comprehensive patient care, pursue professional development, and contribute to a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• One year RN experience preferred or EMS healthcare experience.
• RN license issued by the practicing state.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the ED.
• Support ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.
• Coordinate patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead safety and patient experience initiatives in the ED.
• Achieve ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications as part of role.
