Job summary

St. Tammany Health System is seeking an RN to oversee patient groups during a 7pm–7am shift. You will provide care using the nursing process and coordinate with LPNs, CNAs, and other staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Required Louisiana RN licensure and current BLS/ALS/PALS certifications; one year ED experience preferred. This role demands physical stamina and strong teamwork on a night shift.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program.
• Current LA RN licensure.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications (ALS/PALS within 6 months of hire) through ILCOR courses with manikin check off.
• One year of acute Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a group of patients during a designated time frame and provides care via nursing process and team collaboration.
• Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, Monitor Technicians, CNAs, Nurse Technicians, unit clerks and Paramedic technicians.
