Job summary

Endeavor Health's Highland Park Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (7pm–7am) on a full-time basis. The role involves independent nursing care across patient populations, applying the nursing process, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced ED environment.

The ideal candidate holds IL RN licensure, a BSN is preferred, and BLS/CPR is required; 1+ year of hospital experience is preferred. Rotating weekends/holidays apply.

Qualifications

• IL nursing licensure required.
• BSN degree preferred; BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in practice.
• Be accountable for care outcomes and patient safety.
• Guide assigned unlicensed staff in delivering care.
