Job summary
The Cleveland Clinic Lakewood Family Health Center is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department (ED) to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care overnight. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment open 24/7.
Qualified applicants will hold an RN license (ADN or BSN) and BLS/ACLS; ENPC and PALS are preferred or required after hire, with opportunities for loan repayment, tuition
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Current state RN license.
- One year of acute care RN experience OR military RN experience.
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- ENPC required upon hire or within 24 months.
- PALS within one year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Evaluate and revise plans of care to meet outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
