Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a qualified RN for night shift eligibility. The position runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 12/36 - 12 hour shift pattern. Placement within the pay scale depends on years of RN experience and is defined by the collective bargaining agreement with the involved unions.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, teamwork with the multidisciplinary staff, and adherence to unit standards. Active California RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 year clinical nursing experience (new grads considered).
• California Registered Nurse license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and patient/family.
• Document per department guidelines and policies.
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and mentor other nurses as needed.
• Assess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
