Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care on a 12/36 shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends required every other, on-call not required. Compensation reflects the California RN pay scale and varies by experience.

Requirements include CA RN license and BLS certification. Graduation from an approved nursing program is required, with at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Demonstrate nursing care coordination with multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with care team to plan patient care.
• Document per department guidelines of care and policies.
