Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). You will provide direct and indirect nursing care, coordinate with the team, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a demanding hospital setting.

The role requires a CA RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience (new grads welcome under requirements). Weekend on-call is not required, and the compensation aligns with the union contract for

Qualifications

Graduate of nursing school.
1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
California Registered Nurse license required (CA Board of Registered Nursing).
AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.

Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple patient needs and communicate with the care team.
Applies nursing process with critical thinking to ensure safe, effective care.
Collaborates with team to develop and adjust plans of care as needs change.
Acts as a resource and mentor to other nurses on unit.
Documents per department guidelines and maintains quality patient care.
