Job summary

Renew360° in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse for Detox/Residential to join our medically managed detox and residential unit. You will collect data, document nursing diagnoses, provide direct care, and implement orders in a safe, supportive environment.

You may act as Charge Nurse, supervise LPNs, and coordinate care with physicians. Experience with mental illness or substance use disorder required; recovery from substance use is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong client engagement and motivational skills.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment, withdrawal management, and vital signs monitoring.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with NJ OSHA and nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care to detox/residential patients and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Administer medications as ordered and document in EMAR.
• Complete nursing assessments and discharge instructions.
• Supervise LPN nursing staff as assigned.
• Coordinate referrals to psychiatrists for dual diagnosis clients.
• Provide health education groups and document attendance.
