Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital in Grosse Pointe is seeking an RN for the 39-bed Critical Care Step Down unit. The CCSU provides care for pulmonary, cardiac, neurological conditions and post-op patients, with ventilated tracheostomy patients supported.

The nurse will apply the nursing process, follow Corewell Health policies, and collaborate with a team led by a Nurse Leader. Licensure in Michigan, BLS and ACLS are required; BSN preferred; new grads may sign educational contract.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate degree or higher.
• RN must hold Michigan license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• New graduates may sign an educational contract to complete BSN within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process with patient-family centered approach.
• Work under Nurse Leader guidance in Corewell Health policies and procedures.
• Care for pulmonary, cardiac, neurological and post-operative patients, including ventilated cases.
