Job summary

California RN licensure is required along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Two years of clinical experience and NIH Stroke Scale training are also required. This position reflects the union pay scale and offers competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 2 Years clinical experience.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - REQUIRED
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - REQUIRED
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect nursing care to patients and families.
• Delegate and communicate care delivery tasks to the team.
• Document care per guidelines and policies with accurate charting.
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Coordinate transfer and discharge planning with the care team.
