Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families. This 12/36 hour shift (7 PM–7:30 AM) requires weekend rotation every other weekend and no on-call duties.

Candidates must be a graduate of nursing school, hold an active California RN license, and possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications along with NIH Stroke Scale. Experience and clinical expertise will guide placement within the pay scale.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 2 Years clinical experience.
• California RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.
• Delegate tasks and supervise care delivery appropriately.
• Assess physician orders and clarify when needed.
• Document per guidelines and policies.
• Coordinate transfer and discharge planning.
• Act as a preceptor/teacher for nursing staff.
